Zeriah
This is a new piece that I have just completed for Brian L. It's an illustration of his character, Zeriah. She's a graceful, muscular black dragon--exactly the kind of character I love to do. The moody colors really worked for me on this one. I paint a lot of pieces with bright colors; it's great to play with subdued hues too.

This picture makes me want to play a Black Wind Clanborn! I think the second version turned out better...a bit darker.
The translucent wing is totally cool!
I like the darker color too, now that I've had a chance to see the two images side by side. I adds a more brooding look to the dragon, I think.
