Universal Blood Surge

Looking at recent blog entries, I see that it has been a while since I posted a new piece of Dragon Storm art. Today this changes. Have a look at the art for Universal Blood Surge. Although it's a simple design, I am pleased with the overall look of the image. The background is based on a 3D model that I built, textured and rendered, then modified in my paint program. I am having a lot of fun blending 2D techniques with 3D renders that I have created myself.
