MM2 Merry the Madspawn

Here's another sampling from the upcoming Mighty Madspawn set. He attacks twice a round as an independent action. That would make any Madspawn happy.

Here's the first art post from a new card set I am illustrating for the AROC gaming group. When I was working on the sketch for this mini gargoyle form, I thought back to the personalities of gargoyle characters I had encountered in Dragon Storm games. Hence, the ale.

3D DS MS

No it's not code, It's a mad spawn I sculpted for an upcoming Dragon Storm set in a 3D program called Zbrush. The spawn's name is Aristotle. He may be mad, but he's crazy like a fox; 12 WIS will do that for a body. This is just the first of a series of monstrous mad spawn designed to bring the hammer down on Valarians who think they can beat any spawn.

Remember when I said this piece would look really good in color a few posts back?

Turns out that my subconscious is smarter than I am.

The gent who commissioned her contacted me and it turns out that I had agreed to do her in color for him. Here she is, and I think she does look nice this way. Thanks again Dave, for commissioning her to start with and being a good sport when my memory took a powder. We will be printing character cards for her and shipping everything out in a couple of days.
