Nomad, eh?? Sounds like that will be an excellent addition to the game.
From the looks of the art, it appears they will be able to do something with herbs or whatnot.
I love the face and the overall pose. However, you might want to look at the proportions of the shoulders and thighs. The right shoulder is higher and much larger that the left shoulder. It makes the character look slightly hunchbacked. Also, the left thigh is thicker than the character's waist, which does not look right.
Firestar, keep an eye out; there may be some new cards along this line.
Monoceros, you're spot on for both comments. These kind of errors sometimes happen when I work quickly, as I did with this piece. I appreciate it when someone let's me know; that way I can watch out for them next time.
I dunno, in my skinny weight-lifting days of yon I think my thighs were thicker than my waist. ;-)
A nomad background/anchor would be very exciting, there are several ways I could see that going.
