Here is a piece for the upcoming Dragon Storm card, Great Wolf. I decided to show this wolf in a protective mood, hence the small cat sheltering by his legs. I did this piece as a pencil sketch then finished the colors on my IPad 2. I am very pleased with how it came out and I plan to use this technique again in the future.

Great digital work! Its good to experiment with different mediums, especially digital programs. But who would have thought, painting with an iPad? Thats a very modern approach! Keep on posting and I can't wait to see pieces like these!

Thank you, Lina! I liked the way I did this because it combined traditional art (the pencil sketch) with a modern approach (painting the piece digitally on my IPad). I was trained in traditional art and have taught myself digital painting. This technique uses both methods so it is perfect for me.
