3D DS MS

No it's not code, It's a mad spawn I sculpted for an upcoming Dragon Storm set in a 3D program called Zbrush. The spawn's name is Aristotle. He may be mad, but he's crazy like a fox; 12 WIS will do that for a body. This is just the first of a series of monstrous mad spawn designed to bring the hammer down on Valarians who think they can beat any spawn.

Watch this space for more previews from the upcoming Mighty Madspawn set, which will be released summer of 2010.

Ooooh those eyes... rather snake like and sneaky scarey. Looking foreward to the picts (sculpting?) for the whole set!

Hi Pixie. Yep, sculpting, at least partly. This is one of those pieces that I started in one program and finished in another. The first was ZBrush, which is a 3D program which allows a user to push, pull and carve an object as if it were clay. The second program was Painter, which I used to add finishing touches to the piece. One of these days I should do a workflow posting to show a bit more about how this process works.....

12 WIS? I don't know whether I should be cackling as GM, or running for the hills as a Player. Either way, he sounds (and looks) like an interesting addition...

You really captured the diabolical intellegence with this bloke. Looks great.

I saw the page with these MM's on them and I can't help but admit that our group has a couple of those Valarian's that think they can beat any foe...these will surely pose a threat! Super excited to see more big baddies for DS as well as the rest of the Mad spawn art!

Oh, and Seth...these are too beautiful to not use, so I suggest running for the hills!!!

I love me some Mighty Madspawn, and Aristotle looks just a deadly as he sounds. I can't wait to spring this one on my "friends". ;-)
Thanks, Sue. :)

Speaking as a friend of DS Flunkie, all I can say is "groan".
