DS card Art

I do a lot of Dragon Storm card art and I use the work as an opportunity to try out new styles and techniques. Not every experiment turns out as well as I would like; over time, however, I find I'm developing some skill using these new techniques. Below is a simple piece called Jikadell Serpent that came out quite nicely. I created it using a digital paint technique that I've been practicing for some time. I'm particularly happy with the vibrant colors I can achieve using this method and I think this piece is a good example of that.

New Artist

I recently received a note from Ed Beard Jr. asking me to check out a Youtube video made by his daughter, the singer Destini Hope Beard. I was very impressed by her singing voice and her performances. I suggest that everyone go have a listen to her at the link below. You'll be glad you did.

Hi people. I'm late. January temps are freezing me up! Today there is going to be something of a thaw. I am going to do several posts, starting with this one.

My sister Margaret helps raise prize winning Romney sheep on her home farm. I am working on a piece for her. She plans to enter it in a contest to choose the logo for ARBA--the American Rommey Breeders' Association. Win or lose it has been fun to do.
